"Focus" Fine Art Print - Sepia (Diptych)
This painting started as one canvas with just the left side of his face. I didn’t get far before his gaze demanded I paint his whole portrait. His gaze is intense and focused. The unusual (for me) color palette is reminiscent of camouflage wear…which is totally appropriate given the owls ability to blend in with his surroundings!
The sepia tone version of this painting focuses on neutral natural colors. The warm brown tones of sepia go so well with just about any decor colors (again the camo theme…:)
